Kainchi Dham Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj\'s Ashram is situated in a peaceful and beautifulplace in Nanital district in Uttarakhand , in India. Babaji left his body at midnight on 10 September 1973 at Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Vrindavan and merged into Nirankar. In 1976, three years after the construction of Baba Ji, the statue of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj was established and consecrated on 15th June, this day was decided by Maharaj Ji himself before his death. On this auspicious day the idol of Maharaj Ji was installed with sacred ceremonies and prescribed method of worship along with Veda mantras .
