The name of this place is Maa Chandi Devi Temple. It is situated on the Neel Parvat of Shivalik Hills. This place is one of the 5 Dhams of Haridwar and it is also a Siddhi Peeth. Mata Chandi is worshiped in this temple and there is a lot of crowds during Navratri. You can go their by climb on foot, or you can also come here by ropeway. The temple of Maa Chandi Devi is situated in Neel Parvat of Haridwar. This temple is called Neel Parvat Tirth. Chandi Devi Temple is one of the oldest temples of Haridwar, where devotees keep coming and going throughout the year. 6. Daksha Mahadev Temple
The name of this place is Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. Mata Sati\'s father\'s name was Daksha on whose name this temple is built. And this temple is dedicated to the devotees of Shiva. This place is crowded with devotees throughout the year. But in the month of Sawan, there is a maximum crowd here. There is also a place named Yajna Kunj and Daksha Ghat in this temple. In this entire temple, you will find many pictures of Daksha Maharaj\'s lifetime. His darshan can be seen in Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. Daksha Mahadev Temple is located in the Kalakhal area of Haridwar. Which is one of the oldest temples of Haridwar. Daksha Mahadev Temple is a temple for the devotees of Shiva. 7. Pawan Dham
Pavan Dham is a very ancient temple of Haridwar. This Dham was built by the Geeta Bhawan Trust Society. Which is a non-profit organization. The most important thing about this Dham is its interior, glass architecture, and its beauty. And the biggest highlight of this Dham is the idol of Krishna Ji who is preaching to Arjun Ji. The Pawan Dham is located in Bhupatwala of Bhagirathi Nagar of Haridwar. Here the entire interior of the temple and all the idols are made of small pieces of glass. This temple, located about 2 kilometers away from Haridwar, is completely made of glass. The biggest attraction here is the picture of Shri Krishna and Arjuna at the time of Mahabharata.
8. Maya Devi Temple
Goddess Maya is worshiped in the Maya Devi Temple of Haridwar. It is believed that when Lord Shiva was taking Mother Sati, Vishnu Ji divided the dead body of Mata Sati with his Sudarshan Chakra, and out of those parts, her naval and heart fell on the temple of Maya Devi. That is why many times this place is also called a Shakti Peeth. There are three idols in Maya Devi Temple, in which there is an idol of Goddess Maya in the middle on the left-hand side is the idol of Kali Devi and on the right-hand side is the idol of Kamakhya Mata. Maya Devi Temple of Haridwar is one of the 3 oldest temples of Haridwar. Where there is maximum crowd during Navratri and Kumbh Mela. Maya Devi is considered to be the main deity of this holy Dham. And it is believed that the name of Haridwar used to be Maya puri earlier. In Maya Devi temple you will find 3 statues in which Maya Devi, Goddess Kamakhya, and Kali Devi are also seated.
9. Patanjali Yogpeeth
This place is made to promote yoga and yoga culture. This place was built in 2006 and we also know this place as Baba Ramdev Ashram. There are 2 main places in Patanjali Yogpeeth. First of all, here is the place where yoga is promoted. And the other is Patanjali Ayurvedic Hospital. Here you can buy Ayurvedic medicine and all Ayurvedic products, including Solitare products. Patanjali Yogpeeth is a medical and research institute in Haridwar. In Yoga and Ayurveda. Patanjali Yogpeeth is also the largest yoga institute in India and the whole world. This place is named after the sage Patanjali who invented yoga. Patanjali Yogpeeth Project is a flagship project of Baba Ramdev Ji. If you are interested in Ayurveda and Yoga then you must come to this place. Patanjali Yogpeeth was created in 2006. And people also come here for Ayurvedic treatment. This place is run by Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust Uttarakhand. Apart from Ayurvedic treatment, there is a research lab, canteen, ATM, and Ayurvedic shop.
10. Bharat Mata Temple
As it is named, this temple is dedicated to our motherland, Bharat Mata. This temple was not built for the deities but to pay tribute to the revolutionaries of India. This temple was inaugurated in 1983 by our Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Bharat Mata Mandir is open from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. And you can see this temple anytime throughout the year. Bharat Mata Temple of Haridwar is dedicated to our motherland, Bharat Mata. This temple doesn’t belong to any deities, but to the freedom fighters of India. Bharat Mata Mandir has 8 floors, and you will find different statues on each floor. There is a Vishnu temple, Shakti temple, Sant temple, and the temple of freedom fighters of India.
11. Sapt Rishi Ashram
This place was established in 1943 by Guru Goswami Dutt Ji. It is believed that this is the same place where Ganga Ji divided herself into 7 parts. Yes, there is also Ganga Ghat in Saptarishi Ashram, whose name is Goswami Ganesh Dutt Ghat. And at the same place, Ganga Ji divided herself into 7 parts. You will also find Sapt Sarovar and Sapt Kund in this ashram. So, if you are coming to Haridwar then definitely go to this ashram. Saptarishi Ashram is one of the most famous ashrams in Haridwar. It was built by Guru Goswami Dutt in 1943. This ashram hosts the 7 largest sejas in which Kashyap, Vashist, Arti, Vishwamitra, Jamadagni, Bharadwaj, and Gautam.
12. Mansa Devi Temple
Mansa Devi Temple is one of the very famous temples of Haridwar. Mansa means the desire of the mind. Devotees come throughout the year to see Mansa Devi seeking their wishes. You can climb for 1 to 2 hours or use a ropeway to reach Mansa Devi temple of Haridwar.
13. Ganga Aarti
Haridwar\'s most famous Ganga Aarti is held at Har ki Pauri of Haridwar. Where devotees from all over the country come to participate in this aarti.
